Searching the Index within TRIST

Once you have indexed some documents, it will become possible to search the index for documents based upon a keyword search. To instigate a search, click the ‘Search’ button.

You will be greeted by the above prompt. Type the search as a series of separate words. Then click ‘OK’ or press ‘Enter’.

TRIST will then search the index for documents that contains these words and return them in order of relevance. If one of the words entered is not present in any documents, the relevance is based upon those words which are present. Only if the index contains no instances of any keyword does the search return no results.
