Pending Documents Combo-box

Thank you for choosing the TRIST tool.

The PDC is a way the more wary can preview the documents that are in the ‘Pending List’ (PL). Once a document has been added, the file path is added to the combo. By selecting the path the TRIST tool will identify the terms from the document, order them alphabetically and display them with an offset. An offset is a list of numbers representing how far into the document each occurrence of the word occurred. An offset list of 5;87;462; refers to three occurrences of the word at characters 5, 87 and 462 in the document. If the word is a ‘Stop Word’ then the offset is replace by ‘**StopListed**’. At the bottom of the pane is a summary of how many terms the document contains as well as the number of ‘Stop Words’ and the percentage of words that are ‘Stop Words’.
